3.2 The information processing model

In a computer, information is entered by means of an input device like a keyboard or a scanner. This information is then stored in the memory of the computer. When the information is needed, it can be retrieved and shown through the monitor or a printer. The information processing model explains that the human mind works just like that. It takes in information, then organizes and stores it to be retrieved at a later time.
