This question is addressed in the next video, by exploring the concept of Knowledge for Life as introduced by Chris Brink. What is your view on the task of universities, what is their primary duty: providing knowledge by conducting research or educating students to start an academic career? Write down your arguments pro and contra each of the two choices. Compare your arguments with the views of Brink and Hurtado, as introduced in the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A second issue in the video has to do with the characteristics of talented students, for instance students in an honors program. Think of three or four distinctive chracteristics you expect talented students to possess, be it cognitive, motivation or otherwise.
